There are 750,000 different medicinal herbs species in the world within
which only 10 percent has therapeutic effects. The WHO has applied
Complementary and alternative medicine alongside with new medicine in
the past 30 years. Its cultural root among people, holistic base, ease of
access and reasonable cost are the main factors to consider its
development and promotion.
Nowadays, the purpose of what is known as traditional medicine in Iran is
the teachings rooted in the 3rd century which is often found in Arabic
translations of Greek physician Hippocrates and Galenius.
There are several diagnostic methods in traditional medicine:

• Study of pulse, urine and stool
• Angiology-Linguistics
In traditional medicine, food is divided into two main categories of cold and warm-fuzzies. There are various methods to detect it, but there are some exceptions in this regard.
